Abstract:
The phenomenon associated with the non-uniform propagation of weak waves along the bicharacteristics of a hyperbolic system with governing three-dimensional arbitrary motion of thermally conducting and dissociating gases, is studied. The growth and decay criteria of weak waves along bicharacteristic curves in the characteristic manifold of the governing differential equations have been concluded analytically.
