Abstract:
Using the multiple scattering formalism we describe a process of multiple measurements. For weak decays in the Glauber approximation we obtain the decay law of an unstable projectile. We show that the observed decay law has an exponential form and that the multiple measurement decay width is renormalizable and time-dependent.
