Abstract:
The multifractal properties of the eigenstates with energies lying in the center of disorder broadened Landau bands are investigated using a 2D tight binding model. An energy dependence is found for α0, a parameter that determines the corresponding f(α) spectrum. A new relation is suggested that connects the multifractal behavior of the eigenstates with the scaling theory for critical observables at a mobility edge.
