Spin glasses, complexity and all that

Giorgio Parisi

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1993, vol. 194, issue 1, 28-40

Abstract: In this paper I will present the basic results obtained for spin glasses using the theory of broken replica symmetry. The physical meaning of the various approximations is discussed. Results for other systems are briefly reviewed. Some considerations on complexity and on biological applications are also presented.
