Abstract:
Dynamical critical exponents of three surface reaction models - a monomer-monomer process and two variants of the dimer-dimer process - which exhibit discontinuous kinetics phase transitions (KPTs) are evaluated. The obtained exponents differ from those characteristic of continuous KPTs and suggest that the three models belongs to distinct universality classes.
