Experimental observation of asymmetrical heat conduction

Heinrich Hoff and Paul Jung

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1993, vol. 199, issue 3, 502-516

Abstract: Some years ago a theory of asymmetrical transport has been published, the predicted phenomena of which have been verified by recent experiments with asymmetrical heat conductors. The present paper will report about some applications of the theory to the particular system under consideration, the details of the experimental equipment and finally about the results.
