Abstract: Rayleigh-Brillouin scattering spectra of the molecular glass former salol were combined with ultrasonic measurements to evaluate the non-ergodicity parameter of mode coupling theory ƒ0(T). A weak cusp was found at a temperature Tc = 275 K in reasonable agreement with the temperature found by other methods.
