Spectral method determination of dynamic exponents for Ising models

Kent Bækgaard Lauritsen and Nobuyasu Ito

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1994, vol. 202, issue 1, 224-236

Abstract: We have carried out extensive Monte Carlo simulations of the ferromagnetic Ising model on square and cubic lattices. By analysing the power spectrum of the magnetization autocorrelation function we have values of the dynamic exponents for the two models. Our results are z=2.13±0.02 in two dimensions and z=2.04±0.03 in three dimensions.
