Abstract:
A one-dimensional quantum model with generalized next-nearest-neighbour interaction is studied and its conformal field theory is constructed. The numerical results convince us of the existence of a critical phenomenon in this model. The critical point condition and the value of the central charge c are given. Also the anomalous scaling dimensions δ of the conformal field are given.
