Abstract:
In this paper by means of Laplace transformations the transformation probability matrix is calculated for the solution of the master equation in an exciton model of nuclear reaction. Because the condition of the ‘never-come-back’ approximation is not employed, the solution of the master equation in our calculation is more accurate. The algebraic expression of the transformation probability matrix and the excited state occupation probability are given. All these contribute to a further progress in the application of nonequilibrium statistics in nuclear physics.
