Theoretical study of a diluted spin-S (S > 12) Ising ferromagnet

Abstract: The theoretical framework of a diluted spin-S (S > 12) Ising ferromagnet including a variety of random variables, such as the random field, is presented within the effective field approximation. The variation of the transition temperature and the tricritical behavior are studied for some selected values of the random variables.
