Abstract:
We briefly review our modelling and numerical results for two physically relevant anisotropic problems in phase ordering dynamics, viz., phase separation of a binary mixture in the presence of a surface with a preferential attraction for one of the components of the mixture; and phase separation in a gravitational field.
