Zero-temperature hysteresis in an anti-ferromagnetic Ising chain with quenched random fields

Prabodh Shukla

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1996, vol. 233, issue 1, 242-252

Abstract: We discuss the non-equilibrium dynamics of an anti-ferromagnetic Ising chain in a quenched random field. Our discussion is mainly in the context of magnetic hysteresis, but its relation to the problem if random sequential adsorption is also noted.
