Abstract:
Studies of the dynamics of colloidal particles in concentrated suspensions by dynamic light scattering, viscometry and computer simulation are described. Recent experiments have revealed a relationship between structural relaxation and viscosity, and an interesting scaling of the intermediate scattering functions.
