Manifestations of chaos in the kicked top model

Abstract: Two methods are performed to manifest chaos in a kicked top model. On the one hand we can see that time evolutions and variances of the dynamical variables in regular and chaotic case are obviously different. So the uncertainty measure is convenient for a system with a time-dependent Hamilton. On the other hand the Husimi function reflecting the local property of evolving states and the entropy of quantum phase space which reflects the global properties of the systems are computed. The relation between the two methods is also discussed.
