Abstract:
The fundamental thermodynamic relation and the connection between the entropy maximum principle and the energy minimum principle are analyzed in arbitrary thermostatistics in the canonical ensemble. It is shown that the relation and connection can occur in very general circumstances. Furthermore, the relation is applied in a nonextensive context and the stability of the Tsallis thermostatistics is analyzed.
