Abstract:
The dynamical density functional equation and the self-consistent mode-coupling equation developed before for simple liquid is extended in a formal but general way so that liquids with other degrees of freedom than translation can be treated. The generalized dynamical density functional equation which we call mesoscopic kinetic equation is derived. Using this equation we derive a generalized version of the self-consistent mode-coupling equation for simple liquid.
