Critical correlation functions of the Potts model

Bernard Nienhuis

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1998, vol. 251, issue 1, 104-114

Abstract: A formalism is presented to calculate the energy correlation functions of the two-dimensional q-state Potts model at its critical and tricritical transition, based on the Coulomb gas approach. The consistency of the procedure is verified by comparing alternative prescriptions for the calculation. The four-point function is calculated explicitly. From the four-point function the central charge of the model is computed.
