Abstract:
Spatiotemporal chaos is characterized quantitatively. The characterization of a special model for coupled map lattices has been carried out successfully yet. The dynamic aspects of this model are discussed in the present paper. Anomalous scaling of the probability distribution function for the local Lyapunov exponent is shown. The characteristics of one model for spatiotemporal chaos are given statistically.
