Abstract:
We investigate the localization and scaling properties of the spin wave spectra in magnetic multilayers build up following the Fibonacci, Thue-Morse and double-period sequences. We present a quantitative analysis of the localization and magnitude of the allowed bandwidths in the spin wave spectra of these quasi-periodic structures, as well as how they scale as a function of the number of generations of the sequences.
