Abstract: We present results from experiments on electrostatic and magnetic fluctuations in TBR Brazilian tokamak. The observed electrostatic turbulence induces anomalous particle transport that deteriorates the plasma confinement. We describe how to control this effect, by decreasing plasma turbulence, with resonant magnetic perturbations that creates a Lagrangian diffusion of the chaotic magnetic field lines.
