Abstract:
We present the equations of the extended Gaussian self-consistent method for study of equilibrium and kinetics of conformational transitions of arbitrary copolymer solutions. As applications of the method we consider the effect of the chain topology on the kinetics of homopolymer folding, sequence dependence of the phase diagram and folding kinetics of a single copolymer chain, and stability of mesoglobules in dilute polymer solutions.
