Abstract:
A method for constructing hierarchy of sinh-Gordon (ShG)-type equations from soliton hierarchy with self-consistent source is proposed. The Lax representation for the ShG-type equation is naturally deduced from that for soliton equation with self-consistent sources. Several new hierarchies of ShG-type equations are presented.
