Shape-dependent universality in percolation

Robert M Ziff, Christian D Lorenz and Peter Kleban

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1999, vol. 266, issue 1, 17-26

Abstract: The shape-dependent universality of the excess percolation cluster number and cross-configuration probability on a torus is examined. Besides the aspect ratio of the torus, the universality class depends upon the twist in the periodic boundary conditions, which may be introduced when triangular lattices are used in simulations.
