Percolation in correlated systems

T Odagaki, H Kawai and S Toyofuku

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1999, vol. 266, issue 1, 49-54

Abstract: Percolation processes in two-dimensional systems with correlated distribution are studied for a model granular system and a lattice gas. The critical percolation coverage is shown to oscillate as a function of grain size. Dynamical fluctuation of the structure of lattice gas is shown to produce competing effects to the dynamics of a random walker attached to the lattice gas.
