The Zeno effect for spins

Abstract:
It is shown that the Zeno effect for spins can be obtained in a natural way by using the Bloch equations and taking the limit Tt→0. In this limit the dephasing in the spin motion also approaches zero in such a way that it does not depart from its initial state.
