Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1999, vol. 274, issue 1, 140-148

Abstract: Fluctuations of information flow in a public domain of the Internet are analyzed in view of statistical physics. It is shown that the characteristics of the massive traffics can be well described by the framework of dynamic phase transition between sparse and congested phases.
