Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1999, vol. 274, issue 3, 545-554

Abstract: A microscopic theory is employed to investigate the spin-wave spectra in pure and generalized Fibonacci anisotropic magnetic superlattices. We consider that the magnetic material has a ferromagnetic order. The calculations are carried out for the exchange regime within the framework of the Heisenberg model for low temperatures (T⪡TC) taking into account the Holstein–Primakoff transformations. Numerical results are presented to discuss the fractal aspect of the spin-wave spectra, including the localization of the modes as well as their scaling properties.
