Abstract:
It is shown that many coherent solitary patterns can be excited and saturated from unstable harmonic modes through modulational instability in the conserved Zakharov equations. The evolution of solitary patterns may experience three states: spatiotemporal coherence, temporal chaos but spatially partial coherence, and spatiotemporal chaos that is caused by collisions and fusions among patterns with strong ion-sound emission, the energy in the system is strongly redistributed, it may switch on the onset of weak turbulence in plasma.
