Tsallis based variational method for finding approximate wave functions

Abstract: We introduce trial functions of a form that maximizes a Tsallis information measure and use them in conjunction with the variational approach of Cooper, Dawson, and Shepard, (CDS), that is based upon supersymmetry ideas.
