Abstract:
The bond dilution Blume–Capel model with random crystal field is considered in the framework of the effective field theory. The expressions of magnetizations for honeycomb and square lattices are derived. Special emphasis is placed on thermodynamic properties of the two lattices and the differences between them are compared. Some new phenomena are obtained in a certain range of crystal field, concentration of random crystal field and concentration of bond dilution. We discuss in detail the influence of the two different concentrations on thermodynamic properties. Some phenomena had not been discovered in the previous literature. A detailed description of the phase transition is presented.
