A simple model for DNA denaturation transition

Maria Serena Causo, Barbara Coluzzi and Peter Grassberger

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 2002, vol. 314, issue 1, 607-612

Abstract: We present a simple model of DNA in which many important aspects of the real system are disregarded, while few relevant interactions which drive the system towards a first-order phase transition, as experimentally observed, are taken into account.
