A model of information filtration by comparison of randomly chosen sources

I.S. Manida and Yu.M. Pis'mak

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 2003, vol. 318, issue 3, 562-576

Abstract: We study a simple model of the stochastic information filtering in a randomly organized information system. For simplest versions the model appears to be capable of describing the filtering dynamics in terms of master equations. Exact analytical results for these equations and results of the numerical investigation of the dynamical features of the filter are presented.
