Abstract:
In bistable magnetic wires, the switching field H∗ is an applied magnetic field sufficient to remagnetise a wire. The spectrum of the fluctuations of H∗ depends on temperature. We demonstrate that this effect leads to a maximum of the thermal dependence of the amplitude of the wire magnetisation.
