The classical–statistical limit of quantum mechanics

Abstract:
The classical–statistical limit of quantum mechanics is studied. It is proved that the limit ℏ→0 coincides with that limit for the operator algebra, but it is not so for the state convex set. In the last case decoherence must be invoked to obtain the classical–statistical limit.
