Abstract:
We present an application of Tsallis’ generalized entropy to analysis for thermodynamical nature of the self-gravitating stellar systems. Extremizing the Tsallis entropy, we obtain an equation of the state known as stellar polytrope. And a role of the extremes as a quasi-equilibrium is shown from results of N-body simulations.
