Marcelo B. da Silva, Liacir S. Lucena and Marcia C. Barbosa

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 2004, vol. 342, issue 1, 54-61

Abstract: We present a simple model for the formation of a DNA-surfactant complex and we show that correlational effects relevant for multivalent ions enhance the association. Our results suggest that divalent amphiphiles might be a good vehicle for gene therapy.
