Abstract:
The properties of the response function and the fluctuation dissipation relation in phase-ordering systems are discussed. These issues are shown to be highly nontrivial even in the relatively simple case of coarsening dynamics considered here. It is discussed how the connection between statics and dynamics fails in particular cases and the origin of this phenomenon is considered.
