Abstract:
The magnetic properties of thin ferromagnetic films are investigated within quantum spin 12 Heisenberg model, using the correlated effective-field theory (EFT). We calculate some magnetic properties of the film such as the layer magnetizations, their averages, profiles and longitudinal susceptibility. The film longitudinal susceptibility still diverges at the film critical temperature, while the magnetization approaches are going to zero.
