Abstract: A new scheme of parameter perturbation is used to suppress the stable spiral waves, which generated in a class of excitable media. An appropriated parameter of the investigated model is modulated by a weak chaotic signal from the emanative Rőssler chaotic system. Therefore, the dynamics of the spiral waves is changed, As we expected, the numerical simulation results give evidences that the whole system reach homogeneous state and the spiral waves is killed within 60 time units.
