Coherent states for a degenerate system: The hydrogen atom

Abstract: We construct a simple time stable two-parametric coherent states (CS) for the hydrogen atom, which is a system that presents degenerate levels. Analyzing the position variance for these CS, we are able to identify regions in the parameter space where the system behaves closer to a classical system.
