Wavefront propagation for a class of degenerate reaction–diffusion equation

Abstract: We identify characterizations of wavefront locations of a class of degenerate reaction–diffusion equations. We give conditions under which the wavefront locations can be approximated by those of the nondegenerate ones. Convergence of wavefronts are proved and examples satisfying the conditions are calculated.
