General approach to obtain the magnetic refrigeretion ideal coefficient of performance COP

Abstract: The magnetic refrigeration, for the second order transition materials, is considered and its ideal coefficient of performance COP is obtained by a general physics approach. The COP is shown to depend on the temperature in a non-linear way and on the magnetic field ratio, at the temperature considered.
