Abstract:
We investigate the quantum state transfer in a Heisenberg XY chain using a one-spin or a two-spin encoding schemes. By means of the combined influences of energy current and magnetic field, one is able to significantly enhance the transmission fidelity, suggesting its potential usefulness in quantum information processing.
