A model of task-deletion mechanism based on the priority queueing system of Barabási

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a model of task-deletion mechanism based on the priority queueing system of Barabási (2005) to deep research the pattern diversity of human behaviors. The analytical solution for our model with two tasks is presented. In different cases of the parameter of task-deletion, our model can produce rich statistical behavior patterns, which are consistent with lots of empirical studies. Therefore, the model can theoretically explain more human behavior phenomena than the model of Barabási. These results have important significance for understanding the mechanism of pattern diversity of human behaviors.
