Exact results of 1D traffic cellular automata: The low-density behavior of the Fukui–Ishibashi model

Abstract: The maximum entropy states of the cellular automata models for traffic flow in a single-lane with no anticipation are presented and discussed. The exact analytical solutions for the low-density behavior of the stochastic Fukui–Ishibashi traffic model were obtained and compared with computer simulations of the model. An excellent agreement was found.
