Abstract: We study the ground state phase diagram of the extended cluster spin-1/2 XXZ chain from quantum correlations point of view. Our model is equivalent to a one-dimensional (1D) spin-1/2 XXZ model with three-spin interaction (TSI). The 1D spin-1/2 XXZ model reveals extremely rich quantum behavior in the presence of TSI. The ground state phase diagram contains the Neel, the saturated ferromagnetic (FM), the Luttinger liquid (LL) and topological ordered phases. Using the fermionization technique, we have provided analytical results for the quantum correlations between the pair of spins with different distances. Although quantum correlations between the pair of spins are microscopic, they can be used to detect different ground state phases of the model similar to order parameters.
