Abstract:
We investigate nonclassical properties of the quantum state generated by subtracting any number of photons from the squeezing-enhanced coherent state. It is found that the normalization factor of this new state is related univariate Hermite polynomials. The second-order correlation function, Q-function and degree of squeezing are also derived analytically. A compact expression for the fidelity between the new state and the squeezed coherent state is also derived by using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators. Especially, this novel state exhibits stronger squeezing and some new statistical properties than the normal squeezed coherent state.
