Abstract:
Following the superstatistics concept presented by Beck and Cohen in 2003, the Mittag-Leffler distribution is used to build a stationary distribution, expanding the Boltzmann factor corresponding to each subsystem. The three-parameter Burr type XII distribution is obtained from the procedure, allowing to have a new alternative that could explain the behavior of some complex and nonequilibrium systems. Three most relevant superstatistics classes (lognormal, χ2 and inverse χ2) are reviewed.
