Abstract:
A deduction of the radiation intensity at see level is deduced by using a semiclassical approach by means of the quantum energy spectrum deduced from the driven damped harmonic oscillator, the ergodic theorem and the mean energy obtained by using the Abraham equation of motion for a charged particle. The method is based on using the quantum energy values of a modified Caldirola–Kanai Hamiltonian calculated by Um et al., (2002) with a particular driven force.
